This review paper explores the potential of a Paediatric Blood Pressure Calculator website in addressing challenges related to accurate blood pressure measurement in pediatric patients, particularly in resource-constrained rural settings. During adolescence, precise blood pressure readings are crucial, as they can have long-term health implications. However, access to regular healthcare services and early intervention for hypertension may be limited in rural areas. Technological advancements, such as smartphone applications, have shown promise in improving healthcare access. The Paediatric Blood Pressure Calculator was developed with a user-friendly interface and integrated with a reliable open-source API for accurate calculations. Multi-language support enhances accessibility, while data storage enables historical monitoring. Adoption in rural areas can bridge healthcare gaps, with remote accessibility and user-friendly design mitigating internet connectivity challenges. User feedback and satisfaction are vital for ongoing improvements. Implementing the calculator can improve healthcare access, facilitate early intervention, and optimize healthcare outcomes for pediatric patients. Future directions include addressing digital literacy and enhancing integration with existing healthcare systems. Overall, the Paediatric Blood Pressure Calculator holds significant potential to positively impact pediatric healthcare in resource-constrained settings.
