Abstract:
By using double haploid technique we can develop complete homozygous line in a short period of time. Anther culture and wheat ×maize wide hybridization are most commonly used techniques to produce haploids. But in wheat × maize system is more advantages than anther culture such as increased embryo efficiency, less time and gametoclonal variations. In these review an introduction of anther culture and wheat × maize system and factors affecting them are stated.
