Abstract:
The present study was carried out in four talukas of Bidar district of Karnataka state during 2021 to analyze the Knowledge of KVK trained redgram growers on IPM practices in Bidar district. One hundred twenty redgram growers, who were the KVK trained farmers were randomly selected. The results revealed that 95.83 per cent of the growers possessed full knowledge on varietal aspects followed by 91.67 per cent of redgram growers had full knowledge on Inter cultivation practices and irrigation required. However, 68.33 per cent of grower belongs to middle age and 70.83 per cent of respondents had medium level of farming experience, 43.33 per cent of growers had high school Education. Cent per cent (100.00%) of grower had a labour problem as a major constraints in their farm.
