The objective of the study was to describe daily body weight gain changes during lactation in daily cows. And to Correlate body weight loss with production and reproductive performance. Closely analysis of the body weight data shown that as much and probably more of the variation in milk production was associated with body weight as also with age studies showed improvement in fertility of dairy cows should be achieved by minimizing body weight loss in early stage of lactation.
