Newspaper reading habits of veterinary students of college of veterinary and animal science Navania, Udaipur (Rajasthan)

Abstract:
Newspapers play a critical role in combating the problem of specialization of information presentation for the educational development; newspaper is the main sources for the development of students. Newspapers help students to anticipate trends and understand rapidly changing events. Many researchers concluded that students develop different abiliies through newspaper. Majority 66.67 per cent are male and 33.33 per cent are female. majority 62.22 per cent of them are preferred English news paper to read where as 37.78 per cent are preferred Hindi news papers. The data indicates that 23.33 per cent of students are facing major problem newspapers are not available in timely. 21.11 per cent students faced internet speed is low and 18.89 per cent students faced few copies of newspaper and 17.78 per cent faced Interruption of electricity and 15.56 per cent students faced Subscription rate is high and remaining 3.33 per cent of them faced limited space of library hall.
