Abstract:
The present investigation was conducted during Kharif season of 2021-2022 at research farm of ARS Sakoli, Dist. Bhandara (MH). The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with three replications and seven treatments with rice variety Sakoli-9 used as test crop. The treatments included in this experiment were T₁ – 0:50:50 NPK kg ha^-1 (control), T₂ – 25:50:50 NPK kg ha^-1, T₃ – 50:50:50 NPK kg ha^-1, T₄ – 75:50:50 NPK kg ha^-1, T₅ – 100:50:50 NPK kg ha^-1, T₆ – 125:50:50 NPK kg ha^-1 and T₇ – 150:50:50 NPK kg ha^-1. The results of experiment revealed that application of 150:50:50 NPK kg ha^-1 significantly increased morpho-physiological parameters viz., plant height, number of tillers plant^-1 and effective tillers plant^-1 at harvest, total dry matter production plant^-1, leaf area, leaf area index, grain yield ha^-1 over control. Application of 75:50:50 NPK kg ha^-1 increased the grain yield by 35.18% (4325.98 kg ha^-1) over the control (0 kg N ha^-1) and subsequently no significant increase in grain yield over 75 kg N ha^-1 fertilizer application in rice variety Sakoli-9.
