Abstract:
The field experiment was conducted at Pt. Kishori Lal Shukla College of Horticulture and Research Station, Instructional farm, Bharregaon, Rajnandgaon, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) during 2021-2022. This experiment was carried out to observing the effect of Plant Growth Regulators on quality parameters of guava cv. Allahabad Safeda particularly under agro- climatic condition of Chhattisgarh plain. The studies revealed that GA3 (40 ppm) shows significant impact on guava. The maximum yield TSS (12.52 0Brix), ascorbic acid (135.06 mg/100gm), total sugar (10.35%), reducing sugar (5.35%), non-reducing sugar (5.00%), sugar: acid ratio (76.90), TSS:acid ratio (92.99) and lowest titrable acidity (0.14%) was recorded under T1 (GA3 @ 40 ppm).
