Abstract:
A field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2021 at Crop Research Farm, Department of The field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2021 at Crop Research Farm Department of Agronomy, Naini Agricultural Institute, SHUATS, Prayagraj (U.P.). The experiment was carried out to find the performance of 10 hybrids, which laid out in Randomized Block Design (RBD) & replicated thrice. The soil of experimental plot was sandy loam in texture, nearly neutral in soil reaction (PH 7.2), low in organic carbon (0.35%), available N (108.0 kg/ha), available p (22.5 kg/ha), available k (280.0 kg/ha). The hybrid UR-44 effect was observed in Rice. The experiment findings revealed that the growth parameters viz. number of tillers per hill (13.01) at 90 DAT, dry weight (59.92 g) at 90 DAT and CGR (49.77 g/m2/day) was recorded superior in rice hybrid UR-44. The yield parameters and yield viz. effective tillers/m2 (400.33), number of grains per panicle (253.96), test weight (21.21 g), grain yield (6.99 t/ha) and straw yield (13.78 t/ha) was recorded superior in rice hybrid UR-44.
