Fluoride and nitrate in groundwater of north-western part of Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, India

Abstract:
Groundwater is a vital source for drinking and agricultural purposes in North-Western Part of Rajasthan. The present field survey was conducted to study the ground water quality in respect of chemical characteristics of North-Western Part of Jodhpur District of Rajasthan during the years 2019-20. The results reported that the chemical characteristics, pH ranged between 7.19 to 9.90, EC 0.56 to 12.40 dSm-1, fluoride 0.02 to 2.52 mg L-1 and nitrate 1.10 to 130.50 mg L-1 in underground water of Jodhpur district.
