Abstract:
A novel series of 4-alkyl/aryl/heteroaryl-3, 5-bis (4-chlorophenyl) carbamoyl-2, 6-dimethyl-1, 4-dihydropyridines have been synthesized by conventional and microwave irradiation methods. The synthesized compounds were purified and characterized with the help of their analytical and spectral (IR, 1HMR and Mass) data. The methods employed have been compared in terms of yields, reaction times.
