Survey on seasonal prevalence of repeat breeding in dairy cows

Abstract:
The present study was aimed to revisit the seasonal prevalence of repeat breeding in cows so that suitable measures may be taken to reduce repeat breeding problem and the economic condition of the dairy farmers. The overall prevalence of RB in dairy cows was 31.53 percent. The prevalence of RB was significantly (p<0.05) higher in monsoon (44.70 percent) and post monsoon (32.65 percent) season than autumn and winter season.
