Abstract:
In the pharmaceutical industry, the manufacturing of potent products such as biologics, cytotoxic drugs, and other high-potency therapeutics requires meticulous processes to ensure safety, quality, and effectiveness. Advanced manufacturing technologies, including continuous production systems, robotics, containment strategies, and process analytical tools, are increasingly used to address these demands. This review aims to explore the integration of these technologies into the production of potent drugs, highlighting their benefits, challenges, and the evolving landscape of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
