A one year two months old golden retriever bitch was presented to the Veterinary Clinical Complex, Rajendranagar with the history of an accidental mating with a street dog. The dog was presented with the history of mismating and the owners were reluctant to continue the pregnancy. On ultrasonographic examination, the viable foetuses were confirmed with the gestational age of 35 days. With the owners consent, the Medical termination of pregnancy was carried out using Aglepristone. Successful foetal expulsion was noticed within 48 hours of administration without any complications. The dog recovered uneventfully after the treatment.
