Abstract:
The present study was carried out at Manduwala experimental field of Department of Agriculture, Dolphin (P.G.) Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences, Dehradun, Uttarakhand to evaluate the effects of integrated nutrient management in French bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). The seed material was the variety “Rupali” which was grown with seven treatments. RDF, organic manures (FYM, vermicompost) and bio-fertilizers viz. (Phosphorus Solubilizing Bacteria (PSB) and Mycorrhiza) were applied as seed treatment. All the treatments were assessed for selected growth and yield parameters. Among the treatments, well decomposed vermicompost and FYM@25 t/ha was mixed thoroughly in the soil as s basal dose T6 (75% of recommended dose of fertilizers + FYM + Vermicompost + Bio-fertilizers) influenced the maximum growth and yield parameters followed by T5 (75% of recommended dose of fertilizers + FYM + Vermicompost), T4 (75% of recommended dose of fertilizers + Bio-fertilizers (PSB+ Mycorrhiza), T2 (100% of RDF (NPK), T7 (FYM + Vermicompost), T3 (Bio-fertilizers) and T1 (check), respectively.
