Abstract:
Mahabubnagar local kids mean WBC (10³/µl) count was higher in the G3 group at days 90 and 180 of the study, followed by the G2 and G1 groups. At the 90^th day of the study, the RBC count (10⁶/µl) was significantly (p<0.05) higher in the G1 group than the G3 group, but non-significantly (p<0.05) different from the G2 group. Haemoglobin (g/dl) levels of kids was significantly (p<0.05) differed between the three groups at the 90^th day of the research. The mean PCV (%) of kids in the G1 group at the 180^th day of the study differed significantly (p<0.05) from that of the G2 and G3 groups, whereas the mean PCV (%) of the G2 and G3 groups did not differ significantly (p<0.05). At 90^th day of the study, the serum total protein of kids in G1 (6.09±0.15) was non- significantly higher than G2 (5.83±0.11) and G3 (5.76±0.07) groups. The serum globulins (g/dl) of G1, G2 and G3 groups at 180^th day of the study was 2.88±0.10, 2.69±0.10 and 2.67±0.06, respectively but observed non-significant difference (p<0.05) between the groups at 90^th and 180^th day of the study. The serum cholesterol level in the kids of G1 group was significantly (p<0.05) higher than G2 and G3 groups at 90^th and 180^th day of the study.
