Abstract:
Mahabubnagar local kids mean WBC (103/µl) count was higher in the G3 group at days 90 and 180 of the study, followed by the G2 and G1 groups. At the 90th day of the study, the RBC count (106/µl) was significantly (p<0.05) higher in the G1 group than the G3 group, but non-significantly (p<0.05) different from the G2 group. Haemoglobin (g/dl) levels of kids was significantly (p<0.05) differed between the three groups at the 90th day of the research. The mean PCV (%) of kids in the G1 group at the 180th day of the study differed significantly (p<0.05) from that of the G2 and G3 groups, whereas the mean PCV (%) of the G2 and G3 groups did not differ significantly (p<0.05). At 90th day of the study, the serum total protein of kids in G1 (6.09±0.15) was non- significantly higher than G2 (5.83±0.11) and G3 (5.76±0.07) groups. The serum globulins (g/dl) of G1, G2 and G3 groups at 180th day of the study was 2.88±0.10, 2.69±0.10 and 2.67±0.06, respectively but observed non-significant difference (p<0.05) between the groups at 90th and 180th day of the study. The serum cholesterol level in the kids of G1 group was significantly (p<0.05) higher than G2 and G3 groups at 90th and 180th day of the study.
