Abstract:
A field experiment was conducted during rabi seasons of 2020-21 and 2021-22to evaluate the “Impact of different dates of sowing under varying integrated nutrient management practices in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)” consisted of three dates of sowing (10 Nov.,25 Nov. and 10 Dec.) and five integrated nutrient management practices viz: 100% RDF through inorganic fertilizer, 75% RDN through inorganic fertilizer +25% N through FYM, 50% RDN through inorganic fertilizer +50% N through FYM, 75% RDN through inorganic fertilizer +25% N through Vermicompost and 75% RDN through inorganic fertilizer + 25% N through Poultry manure. Wheat sown on 25 November recorded highest plant height, number of tillers/m2, dry matter accumulation (g/running m), LAI, yield attributing characters viz grain yield, straw yield and N, P and Kuptake as compared to10 December, whereas it was significantly at par with 10 November. Among Integrated nutrient management treatments, 50% RDN through chemical fertilizer + 50% N through FYM recorded higher value of growth attributes, yield attributes, grain and straw yield and N, P and K uptake.
