Abstract:
Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. capsici causes fusarium wilt, one of the most frequent diseases in chilli-growing countries. It affects all phases of chilli plant development. Fusarium wilt disease can significantly reduce fruit yield during the pre-harvest stage and cause reduction in yield. Detailed investigations on various aspects were carried out in the present study. The investigation was conducted at Plant Pathology Section, College of Agriculture, Dhule during the 2021-22. The fungicide evaluated in-vitro against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. capsici were effective and reduces mycelial growth significantly. Among that, Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% WP @ 0.20% conc. were found most effective with maximum growth inhibition (93.72%). Whereas, it was the least with Captan 50% WP (@ 0.02%) i.e., 36.07% growth inhibition.
