To evaluate soil fertility of any area and for recommending balanced nutrition to the crops, soil testing is one of the best techniques which can be used. In this view this current study had conducted in the Raipur district of Chhattisgarh during 2020-2021. Raipur district was purposively selected for the study in which two blocks Abhanpur and Arang was selected purposively. Six villages selected randomly from each of the selected blocks to make a total of twelve villages and from each of the selected villages, ten beneficiaries of soil health card were considered. Accordingly total of one hundred twenty beneficiaries of soil health card considered as respondent for the present study. A pre-tested interview schedule was prepared and the data was collected. The result of this study depicts that most of the respondents knows that integrated nutrient management system not only enhances crop yields but also maintains soil fertility in the long run and on the basis of availability of major nutrients in the soil, recommended dose of fertilizer of following crops are given in Soil Health Card. The overall knowledge level of farmers was medium to high which indicates the reason behind high adoption rate of soil health card in selected study area. Moreover, land holding, cropping intensity and productivity had maximum influence over the knowledge level of Soil health card holders.
