Abstract:
A 28 day old Labrador pup was presented with the complaint of absence of anal opening and feces noticed from vagina since the day of birth. On general examination pet was dull, dehydrated, pain and abdominal discomfort was noticed. Surgical intervention was the only option as to create an artificial anal opening and to close the recto vaginal fistula. Pet recovered without any complications post-surgery.
