Abstract:
Carbon sequestration is a critical process in mitigating climate change by capturing and storing atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO₂). This review explores the mechanisms of carbon sequestration, including biological, geological, and technological approaches. We discuss the effectiveness, challenges, and future prospects of these strategies in achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
