Abstract:
This study evaluates the effect of the TANUVAS Small Ruminant Mineral Mixture on the production performance of Kanni goats. A demonstration was conducted in Okkur village, where 10 farmers were trained to integrate the mineral mixture into their regular feeding practices. The study focused on parameters such as weight gain, correction of mineral deficiencies, and cost-benefit analysis over a 90-day period. The results indicated an average weight gain of 4.75 kg per goat, along with the correction of pica, a condition associated with mineral deficiencies. The findings highlight the efficacy of the TANUVAS mineral mixture in improving growth performance and overall health in Kanni goats.
