Abstract:Growth rates calculated for quantity exported and value received in India for period I (1990-91 to 2000-01) were highly significant, similarly for period II (2001-02 to 2011-12) and (1990-91 to 2011-12) for over all periods compound growth rates were also significant at 1, 5, 10, per cent levels. Karl Pearsons correlation coefficient found, r = 0.9879.
Calculated growth rates for quantity exported and value received in Maharashtra period-I (1990-91 to 2001-02), period II (2001-02 to 2011-12) and for overall period (1990-91 to 2011-12) was highly significant at 1, 5, 10 per cent level differently. Karl pearsons correlation coefficient found, r = 0.9682. Which showed positive relationship between quantity exported and value received.
