Abstract:
A field experiment was conducted with four levels of nitrogen viz. 25,50,75 and 100 kg ha-1 and number of irrigations (one, two and three) Growth characters such as plant height, number of functional leaves per plant were found to increase with increasing levels of nitrogen and irrigation. The maximum plant growth was recorded under the 100 kg N ha-1 and three irrigations.
