Abstract:
A field research has been conducted on effect of Nano-urea on nitrogen use efficiency and yield of rice under upland bunded conditions during kharif 2021 at Research Farm of Shaheed Gundadhur College of Agriculture and Research Station, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh with ten treatments and three replications. The agronomic, apparent nutrient use and production efficiencies were more or less found better in case of 75% N + 100% PK + spraying of Nano-urea (thrice). The highest grain yield was recorded under 100% Recommended NPK and spraying of Nano-urea (twice)] (3225 kg/ha) followed by 75% Recommended N + Recommended PK and spraying of Nano-urea (thrice) (3185), 75% Recommended N + Recommended PK and spraying of Nano-urea (twice) (2970) and 100% Recommended NPK (2897 kg/ha) and are at par. Therefore, we recommend use of nano-urea thrice along with 75% N and 100% P and K for better realization of applied fertilizers.
