Abstract:
The field experiment entitled “Effect of organic manures on growth and yield of yam bean varieties (Pachyrrhizus erosus L.)” which was conducted at research farm of Pt. K.L. Shukla college of Horticulture and Research station, Rajnandgaon during the year 2019-2020. For the analysis of physic-chemical properties of soil, number of soil sample was collected from the experimental plot by which effect of organic manure on physic-chemical properties of soil can be examined. The experimental results revealed that significantly the highest yield attributes viz. vine length (10.42, 21.28, 68.09 cm) in 30, 60, 90 DAS, number of leaves per plants (6.40, 11.40, 16.40) in 30, 60, 90 DAS, stem girth (1.91, 2.83, 3.81 cm) in 30, 60, 90 DAS. Were observed under treatment T2 (V1N2) RM-1 + Vermicompost (75%) + FYM (12.5%) + NADEP compost (12.5%), where as minimum was recorded under T16 (V2N8) RM-2 + (Control) without any manure and fertilizer.
