Abstract:
We carried out an experiment at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat with popular variety of Kufri-Megha during Rabi 2013-14 and 2014-15. The aim of the study was “Effect of different doses of organic manures and biofertilizers on potato var. Kufri megha”. The result showed that the highest total tuber yield was observed in T1 (FYM@20t/ha) followed by T7 and T6 during both the years of experiments. However, highest total N, P and K uptake by potato crop var. Kufri-megha was observed in T1 (FYM@ 20t/ha) during both years and lowest nutrient uptake was recorded at T8 (control) during both the years and N, P, K concentration of haulm and tuber was found non significant during both the years. Result showed that gross return, net return and B:C ratio were found highest in T1 with the application 20t/ha of FYM.
