Abstract:
An experiment was carried out on three years old lemon plants at Horticulture Farm, S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner (Jaipur) during rainy season 2020-21. The experiment entitled with “Effect of Micro-nutrients on Growth, Yield and Quality of Lemon (Citrus limon L.) in Rainy Season”. There were ten treatments, denoted by control (T1), Borax 0.1 percent (T2), Borax 0.2 percent (T3), Borax 0.3 percent (T4), ZnSO4 0.1 percent (T5), ZnSO4 0.2 percent (T6), ZnSO4 0.3 percent (T7), FeSO4 0.1 percent (T8), FeSO4 0.2 percent (T9), FeSO4 0.3 percent (T10). All ten treatments were tested under Randomized Block Design. The application of 0.2 percent borax on lemon plant is significantly increase the parameters like number of fruits per plant (68), yield per plant (8.4 kg/plant), fruit weight (108.4 g), volume of fruit (130 cc), TSS (7.66 0B), Vitamin-C (48.26 mg/100 g) and juice percentage (36.51) while decrease in acidity of the fruits (6.01%) and pH value of fruit (2.1pH) were obtained as compared to control but statistically at par with the application of zinc sulphate 0.2 percent in almost all parameters.
