Abstract:
Management of Hyadaphis coriandari in fennel through chemicals as alone and in combination with botanical were studied at Research Farm, College of Agriculture, SKRAU, Bikaner during two consecutive years i.e., Rabi, 2016-17 and 2017-18. The bio-efficacy of various insecticides/botanicals (11 treatments with control) applied as foliar spray against aphid on fennel. Among them treatments of Azadirachtin → thiamethoxam (5 ml → 0.3 g) proved most effective in reducing the aphid population followed by Azadirachtin → dimethoate (5ml → 1.2 ml) and Azadirachtin → diafenthiuron (5 ml → 1.2 g). The treatments of thiamethoxam (0.3 g), dimethoate (1.2 ml) and diafenthiuron (1.2 g) were existed moderately effective group in reducing aphid population. The treatment of Azadirachtin → Azadirachtin (5 ml → 5 ml) was observed less effective followed by Azadirachtin → dimethoate (5 ml → 0.8 ml), Azadirachtin → diafenthiuron (5ml → 0.8 g) and Azadirachtin → thiamethoxam (5 ml → 0.2 g) during both the years. Maximum grain yield of 11.56 q ha-1 was recorded in the plot treated with Azadirachtin → thiamethoxam (5 ml → 0.3 g) followed by Azadirachtin → dimethoate (5ml → 1.2 ml) (11.37 q ha-1) and Azadirachtin → diafenthiuron (5 ml → 1.2 g) (11.16 q ha-1).
