Abstract:
The biocontrol agents were isolated from the rhizosphere of banyan and were identified on the basis of their cultural and morphological characteristics and by performing biochemical tests. Also confirmed by the microscopic observation. In the antifungle activity against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceri, the observation showed that treatment Pseudomonas striata (T8) was found most effective and showed highest inhibition i.e. 68.51%. The Trichoderma harzianum (T1) and Bacillus subtilis (T9) both had the same antagonist i.e. reaction with mycelial growth 30 mm and with per cent mycelial inhibition of 65.62%.
