Abstract:
There are several health benefits of consuming brinjal, including a high percentage of folate and the overall chlorogenic acid content. This combination of vitamins and minerals, as well as chlorogenic acid's ability to protect the body against heart disease, liver disease, and diabetes, is a powerful combination. Growing conditions and environmental changes influence the amount of these compounds in different varieties, and cultivar-to-cultivar variations in chemical content are common. Many plant breeding techniques have been tried, but they have been less successful than they may have been. Climate-friendly brinjal may be grown using molecular markers and other biotechnological methods, which have made it possible to increase yields and nutritional content.
