Abstract:
Field experiment on management of pod borer Maruca vitrata (Fabricius) infesting cowpea Vigna unguiculata (Walp) was conducted at Department of Agronomy, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri (M.S.) in the year 2020. The investigations on efficacy of insecticides against pod borer Maruca vitrata (Fabricius) infesting cowpea revealed that the treatment Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC @ 0.0044 percent was found to be superior against pod borers which recorded minimum (8.32%) overall mean percent damage.
