Author: Bogdan NS, Tikhonov OI

Abstract: Pharmacological, derivate and microbiological studies of bee breeding-based medicament for treatment of ulcers of stomach and duodenum were conducted. Pronounced antiulcer effect of the drug in the form of granules was revealed in alcohol-prednisolone model with preventive mode of administration that enables its use as therapeutic and prophylactic measure to prevent recurrence of the disease and in acute phase. Studies of thermographic analysis of substance "Plantaglucid", FHPP, honey and powdered standardized investigational product were conducted that enables to talk about the absence of chemical reactions between them and set the temperature regime of manufacture process. Microbiological product indicators was studied and it was proved that he had only antiulcer action without antimicrobial properties what makes it safe for development of normal intestinal microflora. The results of pharmacological, microbiological and derivate studies show the effectiveness of study product and prospects for its further research to treat ulcers of stomach and duodenum.
