Clinical Characteristics of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Abstract: COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality among the population nowadays that leads to considerable economic and social losses. The study revealed that there was a clear tendency among men to the age increasing depending on the disease stage; tobacco smoking dominated among the risk factors that led to the development of COPD. Having analyzed the clinical features of the course of COPD in the groups under study, we found that the frequency of exacerbations progressively increased according to severity, and pathology exacerbation trigger were hypothermia and various respiratory diseases.
